Workshop Overview
The 44th Annual Michigan County Engineers' Workshop, sponsored by the County
Road Association of Michigan (CRAM) and organized by Michigan's Local
Technical Asistance Progam (LTAP), provides county and municipal engineers in
Michigan opportunities to:
- Listen as industry experts and peers present innovative ways to build,
manage and maintain roads and bridges.
- Learn how the latest research and legislation is affecting the
construction and maintenance of county roads and city streets.
- Discuss equipment, products and services that are relevant to the needs
of county and city road agencies.
When and Where
The workshop will be held on February 23-25 at the Comfort Inn & Suites Hotel
and Conference Center in Mount Pleasant. The early bird workshop will provide
guidance on designing trenches for plastic, galvanized and concrete pipe.
Cost and Registration
The registration fee is $210 per person to attend the workshop in person, or $40
per connection to access up to seven sessions through a live web connection. Each
agency that registers at least one person to attend the workshop will be provided
free access to the live web connection for their staff back in the office.
The sessions available for web broadcast are indicated by a "W" on the agenda.
The $210 fee includes the early bird workshop, break refreshments, all meals on the
agenda and all workshop materials. The fee does not include accommodations.

Please let us know if you have any special dietary needs. Register early to
ensure participation.
No-shows or cancellations within ten business days prior to the workshop will be
charged the full registration fee. Substitutions will be accepted.
Accomodations
A block of rooms has been set aside at the Comfort Inn & Suites. The rooms,
available on a first come, first served basis, cost $71.00 per night. To reserve
a room at this rate, call 989-772-4000 and mention the County Engineers' Workshop.
Reservations deadline for the reduced rate is February 5.
