Description:
Compliance dates are approaching do you understand the FHWA regulations
and the various options for maintaining minimum sign retroreflectivity on
your roadways? This workshop is intended for managers, sign shop workers and
everyone in between. It will provide:
- An overview of the FHWA requirements for maintaining minimum sign retroreflectivity
- Guidance on the selection of an assessment or management method to meet requirements
- Familiarity with sign sheeting types and the science of retroreflectivity
- A demonstration of sign retroreflectivity and how RoadSoft and the Laptop Data Collector
can assist agencies in meeting the requirements
- Presentation materials for discussing the new requirements with management, elected officials
or other staff who do not deal with signs as a routine part of their work

Private Companies: $60.00/person
The registration fee includes lunch, all break refreshments and all workshop materials. To register,
please call the Center for Technology and Training office at (906) 487-2102. Space for each session is
limited; please register early.
Cancellation Policy: No-shows and cancellations within three business days prior to the workshop
will be charged the full registration fee. Substitutions will be accepted.
