Training Overview
Michigan's Transportation Asset Management Council (TAMC) has again contracted
Michigan's Local Technical Assistance Program to conduct the annual PASER training
for
anyone participating in and being reimbursed by TAMC in 2010 for federal aid
pavement condition rating or non-federal aid local pavement condition rating.
Who Needs to Attend?
At the January 27, 2010 meeting of the TAMC Data Committee, the following motion
was passed regarding reimbursement for PASER data collection.
"Anyone who intends to participate in the TAMC PASER condition data collection during
2010 on either the federal aid or non federal aid system, and expects to be reimbursed
by the TAMC for their effort, must attend the 2010 PASER Classroom Training Session.
New raters, or others that did not actively rate in 2008 or 2009, must also attend
the 2010 PASER Webinar Training."
Note - New raters need to attend the PASER Webinar prior to attending the Classroom Training.

Cost for Classroom Session
To eliminate expense and payment to the facilities for no shows, there will be a cost
recovery fee of $10 for all public agency participants. This fee
will not be refunded
for no-shows or cancellations within 72 hours of the start of the session. This fee,
travel and training time is reimbursable through your agency's planning organization.
There is a $20 fee for participants from non-Act 51 agencies or private companies.
This fee will not be refunded for no-shows or cancellations within 72 hours of the
start of the session.
Break refreshments are included.
