Who Should Attend?
You should attend the workshop if you’re a county or city engineer or technician, and you’re
interested in learning how to conduct a detailed safety analysis of your roadway network.
A background in trafic safety is NOT necessary.
Overview of Training
This workshop will take participants through the safety process from screening their network
for high crash locations, to site level analysis, to evaluating countermeasures. The workshop
focuses on safety analysis tasks that can be accomplished in RoadSoft as well as safety
studies that occur in the field. During the workshop participants will be utilizing their own
crash data in RoadSoft, so participants will need to bring a laptop computer with their version
of RoadSoft already loaded.
Cost and Registration
The registration fee is $55 for employees of local agencies, or $75 for employees
of private companies. Registration fee includes break refreshments, lunch, and all
workshop materials.
