When and Where
The 2008 County Engineers� Workshop takes place Tuesday and Wednesday,
February 5 & 6, 2008 in Marquette, MI, at the Holiday Inn hotel.
This year's CEW is scheduled immediately preceding the U.P. Road Builders
meeting at the same facility. If you are a road commission employee, consider
staying a couple more days in Marquette for the follow-up meeting, especially
if you have never attended the U.P. Road Builders meeting.
Cost and Registration
The registration fee is $200.00 for CEW. Coffee-break refreshments, Tuesday
and Wednesday lunch and banquets, workshop materials, and handouts are
included. Please let us know if you have any special dietary needs. The
registration fee does not include accommodations. To register, call the
Michigan LTAP at (906) 487-2102 by January 28, 2008. Please register early
to ensure your participation.
Accommodations
A block of rooms has been set aside at the Holiday Inn. The rooms, available
on a first come, first served basis, cost from $65 per night. Reservations
need to be made with the hotel by January 31, 2008. Call 906-225-1351 or
800-HOLIDAY and mention the County Engineers Workshop to reserve a room.
