The Michigan Engineers' Resource Library (MERL) contains information and utilities designed to help project engineers create road and bridge project estimates. MERL also includes utilities to enter and analyze bids for local jobs as well as to manage local jobs by tracking daily postings and payment estimates.

Roadsoft is a graphically designed, integrated roadway management system developed for Michigan's local agency engineers and managers to use in the analysis and reporting of roadway inventory, safety, and conditional data.

The HEC-RAS modeling system is part of the US Army Corps of Engineers, Hydrologic Engineering Center's (HEC) "NEXT GENERATION" (NEXGEN) of hydrologic engineering software. The Center for Technology & Training (CTT) is an approved vendor for HEC software, providing software, documentation, training, and technical support.

HY8 develops performance curves using techniques published by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
